Continuing in a similar vein to the first EP, this time the vocalist has changed, but her delivery is so similar you won't spot the difference straight away. With impressive playing and writing, this band might be described as Moe Tar's younger siblings.
Favorite track: Dim.
This is music from another universe. Someone opened a wormhole and A Formal Horse came through. The human race is insufficiently evolved to fully appreciate this album.
Favorite track: The King.
“The Southampton quartet’s second EP, combines nervy, twitching rhythms – think XTC playing Voivod’s back catalogue – with pure-as-the-driven female vocals. The result is oddly intoxicating.”
